I’m a filmmaker, musician, cartoonist, and adjunct film professor based in Guam 🇬🇺.
I co-wrote "MYSELF WHEN I AM REAL”, a dramatic short, with director Angeline Gragasin. The film will premiere at the 2024 Women Make Waves International Film Festival in Taiwan, with additional screenings at the New/Next Film Festival, San Diego Asian Film Festival, and the Ivano-Frankivsk International Short Film Festival 4:3 in Ukraine. As a writer’s assistant, I worked for Daniel Stiepleman on ON THE BASIS OF SEX (2018, Mimi Leder), OUT OF MY MIND (2024, Amber Sealey), and PLANET OF EXILE, adapted from the sci-fi novella by Ursula K. Le Guin, which is currently in development at LAMF.
I co-founded and am a former member of the band Zusha. Our first full-length album reached No. 2 on the Billboard World Music Chart, our debut EP came in at 9. I’m a credited co-writer of JID’s single “Dance Now,” which samples a song from that EP and was performed at the MTV VMAs and Lollapalooza. Dance Now earned a gold record in 2024.
My comedy videos have been featured on Comedy Central. This sketch, featured in Vulture, upset 140,000 people. My experimental comedy “Ditched,” starring Tom Achilles, is an official selection at the 2024 Nooga Underground Film Festival.
